If there are any how to introduce a kitten into a Terrier breed dogs territory my dog is smallish it is a dog that barks and bites and is teritorial. The dog is a Suki Terrier cross Chiwawa. A Male too.
cats are cats, for the most part…so the problem isn’t finding the right breed of cat, the problem is having the right breed of dog….and, all terrier breeds are territorial….therefore, although possible, it’ll take a lot of training and patience if you plan on introducing a cat into the family.

We were recently giving an abandoned kitten, and when we talked to a friend, we discovered that he could be a part(or possibly FULL) breed thats rare.
We really want to figure out what breed he is. He’s fuzzy, black, and it seems like he has this fuzzy gray topcoat from head to where the base of the tail would be. Any ideas?
That’s NOT a breed that’s a deformity. The kitten is not full or part Manx. Unless he has papers from a breeder he not a Manx.
"Manx Syndrome" is a colloquial name given to the condition which results when the mutant tailless gene shortens the spine too much. It can seriously damage the spinal cord and the nerves causing spina bifida as well as problems with the bowels, bladder, and digestion. Some live for only 3 years; the oldest recorded was 5 years when affected with the disease . In one study it was shown to affect about 20% of Manx cats, but almost all of those cases were rumpies, which exhibit the most extreme phenotype."- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manx_%28cat%29

We had a collie, he was great with the cat but he died out of old age(13), so now we are thinking about getting another dog, maybe of a smaller, different breed. Now we have 2 cats: female(3 yr.) raised with dogs and a male(5 months) never been around a dog. Thanks.
I have three boxers and the get along with cats o.k
