Are there any breeds of dogs that are better with cats than others?
I have a 1 year old Bengal cat and would love to get a dog. Are there any breeds of dogs that are better with cats than others?
Some people think so. Others don’t. A calm retriever, or something like a retired Greyhound or another breed that doesn’t bother chasing for life, will do better than the average terrier, pit bull or else.

Would different breeds of cory cats group together?
i have a ten gallon tank with 5 male guppies and one albino cory cat, before you get angry at me for not having 3+, I am planning on getting another two, but i want to add them gradually… my question is, will different sorts of cory cats shoal together? (e.g a bronze cory & an albino)
and any tips would be good, im only new to the hobby
For them to know that they are supposed to school together, you need to get them all at the same time.
All types of Corys will school or shoal together now and then.
Good luck!!!~~~~

What breeds of cats make the best (mostly) indoor pets?
Most of them, but primarily the Turkish Angora,
the Tuxedos, the Marmalades and the Russian blues.
The rest can be in or not. But if your indoor cat ever goes outside, mine hasn’t more than once, for along time ( he’s a tuxedo) I advise you to get it a collar and name tag and go out with it, which might require a small leash. Wonderful pets! The Tuxedo and the Angora are the most playful. Some people might call that Frisky. But the marmalades are playful, too.

Care For Your New Pet
Pet owners are very loyal to their pets and there is nothing a pet owner will do to make sure their pet lives long and is healthy. Instead of buying a more than one puppy it is better to purchase a single puppy this way the puppy will have a better chance bonding with the owner and it will be easier to will bond to its owner better and will be easier to train than having many puppies. Avoid the temptation of buying two or more puppies. Depending on the breed, the best time to purchase a puppy is between 7-9 weeks of age. The puppy should get used to being around people and other dogs. Your puppy should not be allowed to roam the house freely until he is properly housetrained. A common misconception is that healthy dogs and cats must eat every day when in fact they do not. Smaller breeds are an exception, but even then pet owners must take care not to overfeed.

What are some breeds of hypoallergenic cats?
Supposevly im allergic to cats even though when im near my friends’ cats I dont sneeze or anything. My mom says we could get a cat if it’s hypoallergenic, though I dont want something big and fluffy like the Maine Coon cat. I’ve also heard that the Siberian cats to be hypoallergenic but im not a big fan of them. Is there anything hypoallergenic similiar looking to maybe a..tabby?
Answerer number one doesn’t know the difference with the words hypoallergenic and nonallergic. There ARE hypoallergenic breeds there are NO nonallergic breeds.
If you’re not a fan of the Siberian then the cats that you should be looking at are the Rex es the cornish and the devon.
A tabby is not a type of cat. It is a pattern. There are tabbies in almost every breed, mackerel classic and spotted and they come in different colors.

Choosing A Cat Breed
Choosing a pet can be a momentous decision; there are space considerations, time commitments, and a general overall dedication to the daily love and care of another living thing. It is not a decision to take lightly. Of course, there is also the equally significant choice between varieties of pets. Pet owners are often split down the middle between dog lovers and cat lovers - with owners of both thrown in for spice. Cats may seem like the simpler of the animals from which to choose. But the truth is that there are a variety of cat breeds to explore - each of which has its own look and personality.
Each cat breed is something very different from the next. It is important, therefore, that you consider the personality of your family and what cat breed would best integrate into your lifestyle. The biggest difference between each cat breed is generally the level of human contact they need or tolerate. Some cats are perfectly content to stay to themselves and only emerge when they need to be fed. This may be a good choice of cat breed for a busy professional couple with no children. For an active family who wants a participatory pet, however, a cat breed with a more social personality may be a better fit.
When considering a cat breed it is also important to consider their hair length. Long-haired cats require an enormous amount of grooming because of the possibility of mangled, knotted hair - an uncomfortable prospect for the cat and an equally aggravating prospect for the owner. A short haired cat breed requires far less grooming and may be a better choice for those owners with minimal time to dedicate.
When researching a particular cat breed, you have a number of different resource options. Chat with other cat owners about their favorite cat breed and the pros and cons of ownership; consult a trusted veterinarian about the temperament of a particular cat breed and how it would fit within your family; and speak with knowledgeable pet store employees about their experiences with each cat breed. Lastly, the Internet holds a vast amount of information on whichever cat breed most interests you.
If you do proper research regarding your cat breed of choice, you will find that you soon have another family member that will bring you a lifetime of love and joy.
