Aren’t ads denouncing single-payer are the enemy of the people?

Posted by: admin  :  Category: cat health insurance

Rich people are running hundreds of ads to scare ordinary people from demanding single-payer healthcare. It is the corrupt health care insurance corporations that are running these scary ads. We need affordable, sijmple single-payer health insurance. No more fat cat insurance ads throwing dirt at single-payer health care. Pay attention.

Hey, i agree. I think everyone ought to cancel every bit of insurance they have on Monday at noon. The whole economy of this country would change. The insurance companies act as a middle man and i see no reason to keep paying that middle man… it’s only making them rich. Keep your money and deal with who you have to deal with directly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Animal health insurance?

Posted by: admin  :  Category: cat health insurance

My cat needs medical attention and im trying to find good insurance for him that will cover his visits and medications, the only one’s that i can find are the types that just reimburse you, and i don’t have the money to pay, i want to find good insurance for him that vet’s will just bill straight too, anyone have any ideas?

Most Pet insurances do not cover pre existing conditions and only reimburst you for the covered expenses. Try finding a Vet that will let you make payments….either way, most pet insurances only cover certain things. For the future, I’d recommend putting away money every month in your own fund in case a unforseen problem ever arises. Good luck!

I would like the names of all the fat cat senators against the health care reform?

Posted by: admin  :  Category: cat health insurance

The health insurance industry paid some big pay back through their lobbyists to get all the Republicans to vote no under any circumstances

Well, an easy way to find them is to see who has an (R) after their name.

I challenge anyone to find me a Republican senator who will vote for health reform in any way, shape or form.

Will Joe Lieberman & Olympia Snowe take a stand for consumer-access to catastrophic health insurance options?

Posted by: admin  :  Category: cat health insurance

Having finally found the middle ground in the nation’s on-going healthcare debate, can we hope that Joe Lieberman and Olympia Snowe take a stand on behalf of limiting the middle class families’ exposure to expensive health insurance mandates imposed by the federal government?

Will they stand up for allowing middle class families to have an option of selecting lower cost catastrophic healthcare insurance which protect the federal government against liability for their healthcare, yet allow middle class families to pay out as little as possible in order to achieve that goal. This would seem to provide the perfect balance of limiting the dependency on the federal government while paying as little as possible to fat cat insurance CEOs.

Can we hope they will take that stand? Is there any hope left?
justagranma - You have the choice PAY A HIGH PREMIUM PRICE EVERY YEAR. Or pay a low premium and then pay as you go for every medical procedure. Its up to you. The only difference with the allowance for catastrophic is that many people can save money by avoiding medical costs. This frees up doctors for people who need more tests who can buy the more expensive comprehensive.
Your Assistant - Actually I have heard that Joe Lieberman specifically AGREES TO ALL THOSE THINGS YOU SAY. I simply want him to preserve the consumer option for Catastrophic insurance. Even though my state requires me to get insurance, I only have to buy the cheapest liability insurance—now full blown minimum deductible collision. What is your problem anyway?

A public option for catastrophic illness and injury should have been the first baby-step when the debate was initiated.

I have faith in Snowe - she is an excellent Senator, but Lieberman is as slimy and two-faced as they come.

What can I do if I was diagnosed with pre-cancer with no health insurance?

Posted by: admin  :  Category: cat health insurance

Hello everybody,
well first of all want to wish everybody happy new year and christmas and ask for help ( i am sure i will not get any help, but i will try)
I am 22, I work at fast food restaurant and make enough to pay the bills and eat, buy a few things on the side for my cats and do christmas shoping, I do not have medical insurance, also I have a loan that I am paying every months, so basically i can not afford an insurance right now, about 2 months ago doctors told me that I have PRE-CERVICAL cancer, its not a cancer yet but if I dont get a surgery right away than cancer will come for sure,I am at the second stage of that problem. The surgery I need is called loop surgery, i already find out that it will cost $5000, half of which MUST be in cash before the surgery in doctor’s hands, and other half i have to pay after,
The sad thing that I can not afford it and I dont have insurance, even if I get insurance( I find out that they wont pay for it because I was already diagnosed with pre-cancer before I will have insurance). I asked people for help, I asked at work, I asked online, I asked Cancer Society, nobody has called me back. The answer I was hearing is —how can we give you free money if we dont know you.
I dont live with my parents, so my mom cant help me, she doesnt make much money either, and the bank wont give a big loan, because I already have one.( i am paying for it monthly) RIght now is December……coming january i need to have that surgery, doctors told me on the phone that its very serious…..and what can I tell her —-i dont have enough money, i will call you back later?—exactly what i said…..god…it sucks so much….i know i got to have that operation to remove the bad cells, but where am I suppost to find money? I really tried to look for sponsor….but then it was ringing in my head—Sweetie look at the world, everybody are for themselves now, if you dont have insurance or if you are not rich…you are f….basically.I been dipresed since I find out I have this…..I cry more often now laying in bed and thinking that if I dont do something the cancer will come, and who knows what will happend, my health right now been not good anyway, O work alone, dont sleep much, not eat right, i think alot about death now…because some woman die from cervical cancer, i also feel sad that later I may not have kids, and I always wanted a big family….in the future….right now I am thinking who would give me $5000….most likely answer is..nobody. Even raised my hope one time buying lottery ticket and winning big cash money, so I can be healthy and happy. So I can be myself again. This eats me emotionally everyday.
So if you know how I can find a sponsor or anybody who can help me finacialy please????
I really need this more than anything right now.

Your story really touched me, as it will to everyone that reads it. During these holidays there are some radio stations locally that answers letters of need like this one is. Somebody writes in about a need and they answer the need "over the air."

Last night, a mother lost her daughter, they had nothing, no food, shelter, or gifts. The grandmother wrote in and her story was told on the radio. They gave her $1,000.

If it were me, I would contact a local TV or Radio station to let them know about your situation. There are plenty out there just dying to make a donation to a great cause like yours is. But they do not know your story. You will not reach them in this forum. It is unlikely. But you may get an idea on how to go about fulfilling this need.

This much pressure should not be in anyone’s life, but sadly it is what a lot of people face everyday. Wherever you live, see if a local TV station or Radio Station is having a "Wish come True" program that they are sponsoring. It is worth a try.

You have nothing to lose and everything to gain. If you said the American Cancer Society won’t help, I would ask for somebody to be an advocate for you. I would also try to see if there is a church that you can go to that "Knows you or your family".

I said a prayer as I took time out to write a response to your question that somehow, someway…you get the funds that you need to get the surgery you need to survive.

God Bless and Care For You.

Dave

Please HELP! Can anyone recommend a good cat insurance.?

Posted by: admin  :  Category: cat health insurance

I found a cat and so fare no one has claimed her, In few days I have spent so much money on her and I haven’t even scratch the surface of her health problems. I think it help if I insure her, but I need you guys to give me some advise on choosing the company because surly they are not all the same. And please if it is a waist of money and it realy don’t help, please tell me what you have experianced. We thank you in advance, I named her Grace.

Hi my cat is covered by Pet Plan. They might be slightly more expensive than others but if your cat is diagnosed with an illness they are covered for life unlike some other policies. Make sure you inform them of any previous illnesses etc before you sign up as if you dont you may not be covered. If you fail to do this they will find out anyway by refering to vet records so you will lose out in the end. They are also widely accepted by most vets making it easier when having to claim. My cat is 3 now and i pay about £9 a month. Also get your cat microchipped costs about £15 means if they are lost and picked up by pound rescue centre can be traced to you and returned.

What is the best pet health insurance for my cat?

Posted by: admin  :  Category: cat health insurance

I love my cat. Any suggestion.

suggest you to look at this http://the-pet-health-insurance.blogspot.com
Affordable Pet health insurance was once considered a luxury reserved for expensive pedigreed or show animals. Nowadays, this is no longer the case. The pet health insurance industry is growing, expecting to double by 2012. This means that there are more and more companies beginning to offer pet health insurance, and therefore policies have become very affordable. From just a few dollars per month, you can help minimize expensive vet bills.

Instant Protection Typically, the coverage for accidents is immediate under most pet health insurance policies. This ensures that you are instantly protected from unexpected events. You should however, check your policy’s details to see what the waiting period is to have protection from illnesses and if pre-existing conditions are covered.

Peace Of Mind With pet health insurance for your cat or dog, you will have the peace of mind knowing that you can afford the treatment that will possibly save your furry friend’s life. Furthermore, if your pet develops a long term, chronic illness such as diabetes or arthritis your pet health insurance company will assist you with the ongoing and expensive costs.

Even More Protection – the Added Bells and Whistles Not only does pet health insurance covers vet bills, many companies offer other benefits too. Your policy may cover the unfortunate situation of your pet being lost or stolen, and may even pay for a reward and advertising for your pet’s return. Furthermore, just like health insurance humans, you can purchase pet health insurance that will cover your pet for any injuries sustained while on vacation overseas.

CAT INSURANCE! Which company to go with? (UK)?

Posted by: admin  :  Category: cat health insurance

Hi all,
I am about to insure my cat! He is a young tabby (1 1/2 years old). His recent MOT showed him in perfect health. He has his catflap and comes and goes as he pleases.

However, I am lost in the Pet Insurance jungle! I have been told to look for the max. amount per year rather than condition - Axa does a good one. £11 per month. Excess is £50.
Petplan is also good, but more costy.

What insurance do you have? Write the companies down, a few details about your cat, and the pro’s and con’s!
Thank you!
None of the companies that have quoted me have asked whether he is an indoor or outdoor cat. Outdoor cats are at higher risks for accidents or injury, whereas indoor cats are at higher risks for long term illness.
I hear ya, Honey Bee! I too, have considered this - back and forth. But there is still that ”what if” something would happen too soon (hit by car etc) - then £24 in my savings wouldn’t go very far! Long term, yes, short term? Don’t know!! I totally see your point though.

you will probably have an easier time getting better rates if your cat was an indoor cat.
