Tainted Pet Food From China Right After Their Slaughter Of Dog’s And Cat’s?

Posted by: admin  :  Category: cat pet supplies

Recently China slaughtered thousand’s of dog’s and cat’s, they say it was necessary to prevent to transfer of rabies. When word of it being planned was first leaked it prompted an outpouring of complaint’s from people around the world. More than likely quite a lot were from people in the USA. Evidently the complaint’s feel on deaf ear’s because it was continued as planned. If the complaint’s infuriated quite a few of the right people there, especially one’s who were in charge of supplying the Gluten that pet food companies use for pet food here in the USA……Hopefully this recent pet food tragedy isn’t the result of something that heinous but the world is full of very spiteful people. What do you think, a totally out there thought, or, there unfortunately might be some possibility?

Some people think that some dog food is, quite literally, DOG food.

Is it hard to have cats? Becoming a pet parent later this year and so nervous.?

Posted by: admin  :  Category: cat pet supplies

I live in the basement apartment of my parents’ house.I moved in last year.My parents said I can have any pet except a dog.I want 2 cats at the end of this year or the beginning of next year.I want an all white American Shorthair cat and a black and white American Shorthair cat.I’m naming the black/white cat Midnight and I’m naming the white cat, Marshmallow.I want the white cat to be female and the black/white cat to be male.I am going to price cat supplies at Petco.I went to Petsmart and priced cat supplies, but I want to see if Petco is a little cheaper.I have also seen things at Target and Walmart.I talked to several couples and college students with a cat or more cats and they said that they are less expensive than dogs.My dad is trying to make out like these cats are going to break my bank and he is making me nervous.
I have been reading so much about cats.I plan on getting the Cat Encyclopedia too to have that as my manual. My dad is making out like the cats are so expensive, just because my aunt has a hard to deal with little dog who requires skin medication, tooth problems, etc. If the dog had of received the care when he was a pup, he wouldn’t be going through this.I think if pet owners do what they’re supposed to do then their money wouldn’t be going to the vets all the time.I read how to groom cats, brush their teeth with pet toothpaste, feed them, etc.I priced the 2 beds, the automatic self cleaning litter box,the cat condo, cat toys, cat collars, and carriers.I also want other pets.I also plan on getting a hamster, mouse, rat, gerbil, turtle, tortoise, frog, newt, blue tongue skink lizard,2 dwarf rabbits, and an aquarium.Cats aren’t that bad are they?

Between my bf and I we have 4 cats at our house. They’re indoor/outdoor but they only go to the bathroom outside so I dont really have to buy litter. As far as food, I buy a huge 20 pound bag for $10 at wal-mart. Although for only 2 cats I wouldn’t recommend such a big bag because the food will go stale and the kitties will stop eating it. I also buy them wet food, Friskees at wal-mart, $42 cents a can, and they split one can per day so that’s not too much $. But wet food is usually an extra that you have to decide if you can afford. I think for sure cats are less expensive than dogs. We also have a puppy, or I should say my bf does, and he’s spent so much so far on a crate, food (the dog eats 4 times as much as the cats!), toys (which he chews through and have to be replaced, this doesn’t happen much with cats), cleaning fees for all the messes he’s made, a dog house for outside, a divider so he’ll stay in the back of the jeep. Dogs are way expensive! Pet smart is definitely more expensive than wal-mart but theirs toy/collar selection is better. I just go to wal-mart for food and litter though, very cheap! Good luck I think you’ll be fine!

Is it possible for me to start a business?

Posted by: admin  :  Category: cat pet supplies

I’m 20. I live in Alabama. I want to open a pet supply store. I don’t have a business degree but I was thinking about trying to find a partner who knows the business side because I am very experienced on the animal side. I will specialize in cat and dog supplies. I also have no credit. I don’t have bad credit, just no credit. Is there anything out there that helps people like me start a business? Also, I don’t have a job either. It’s hard to find a job out here.

You can start your own business, it might be easier if you went to school for business and worked at a pet store first, but regardless its still worth a shot. If you cant take out a loan form the bank maybe some one else can for you, and you repay that person. In the meantime you can always create a web site about pet related stuff and make money with affiliate ads.

Are cat playpens, condos, towers, hammocks, dens, etc. (other cat furniture) worth the money?

Posted by: admin  :  Category: cat pet supplies

I’m getting a new cat soon, and I want her/him to be happy while I’m away at work. I found this website http://www.drsfostersmith.com/Product/Pet_supplies.cfm?c=3261+10345+1887 which has a ton of adorable cat furniture. Preferably from those of you who have purchased one of these things, do you recommend it? Do the cats actually take a liking to these things, and if so, what particular type of cat furniture would you recommend?

We have a cat tree and our 4 cats love it. The first one fell to pieces (we bought a cheap one) through overuse. lol

Cat trees are a personal gift and not every cat likes the same thing. For that reason, no-one on here can tell you which one will be best for your cat, you really need to think about what your cat enjoys doing. What’s good for my cats, for example, might not be any good at all for your’s. Do its current owner have a cat tree? If so and they don’t need it any more, will they let you have it? If it’s a rescue cat, can the shelter staff advise on the sorts of things he/she likes to do?

For example, does it like scratching on a vertical or horizontal surface? If vertical, you need to make sure that it will still be high enough for him to use as a scratching post when he’s fully grown. Does it like climbing high? Does it like sitting and laying up high? Does it like hiding, so would it like a box? Some cats prefer toys which require a human to get involved and don’t like dangling toys they have to play with alone, so which does it prefer?

I’m sorry if this isn’t giving you with a simple answer, but every cat is different and has its own likes and dislikes. If you’re spending that sort of money you’d be best getting something the cat would love and use for many years to come.

Don’t bother shelling out more money for one that’s scented with catnip, as it’s easy to buy catnip sprays from any pet shop.

If I were buying one for my cats, I’d go for one where they can climb, be high up and hide/play in boxes, because that’s what they enjoy doing.

If you’re any good at DIY, it’s not that hard to make one. The benefits of doing this are the cost and also you can tailor-make it exactly to your cat’s requirements. Here are some websites with step-by-step instructions:

The last one is huge, obviously, as it’s designed for Main Coons. lol

My cat is sick. She is sneezing/has a cold.Is there some sort of medicine that I can give her without the vet?

Posted by: admin  :  Category: cat pet supplies

she is just sneezing. she is a house cat the never goes outside. She is tramatized everytime she has to go to the vet and isn’t the same for a least a month. Is there any medicane that I can maybe get from a pet supply store or even the vets office without having to take her out?

Sorry but your cat does need to see a vet ,there’s nothing you can buy yourself and your cat will get worse if she’s not seen. Can you afford to have the vet call at your house to see her ?

Should I supply grass, sold at a pet store, for my indoor-only cat?

Posted by: admin  :  Category: cat pet supplies

You should give him indoor cat food. It contains all the wholesome grains and garden greens that he craves.
