I recently bought a couple things to make toy mice, it turned out to look like toy cats and it took me forever to make. I am not a artist but does anyone know how to make QUALITY cat toys?
There are lots of simple things you can make, and they don’t have to look like mice or anything like that. Go to the dollar store, and get some of the socks they sell for infants. Stuff them with some polyfill and some catnip, and sew the end shut. Cat toy! Get some ping pong balls, some rice and some feathers, and a hot glue gun (another dollar store item). Make a tiny hole in the ping pong ball, put in a few pieces of rice, and then glue the hole shut with the feather sticking out of it. Scraps of fabric can become catnip pillows, and pipecleaners can become springs. If you have any relatives that can crochet, they can make small oval ‘eggs’ that you put a bell inside. And remember, they don’t have to be perfect - cats will enjoy playing with them if they roll, make noise, or have catnip inside!

I bought a toy for my 2 cats not realizing it had cat nip in it. My cats opened the present and got out the cat nip. I’m working on making a quilt and have a extra piece of fabric and want to make a cat toy out of it without putting cat nip in it. How do I make the fabric smell like cat nip so they can play with it?
Buy some loose cat nip at pet store.. Put some in fabric and sew it up.

How many cat toys my reasonabile answer is 57% but i nedc to lower to 5%
Stop asking questions which are totally pointless. If you cross the bar, can’t you report people? And get their accounts deleted? =3
Just get 1 peice of string and something fluffy. Your sad, sick, pregnant cat may decide to chase after it.

We are starting a rescue center at home, ideas?
I think what you are doing is really sweet, and that you are a wonderful person, well here are some of my suggestions.
Toys:
* Mouse toys
* Balls
* Scratching Posts
* Anything with a nice bell or something
* Rope, cats love chasing Rope.
* Cat Tunnels.
Bed:
* You can use some Blankets, and put baskets under them.
* Or let them sleep on old couches.
Food:
* Just buy a big bag of cat food, like the Whiskas Big Bag!
* Water of course.
* A couple of bowls to hold them.
Litter Box:
* You can just let them go outside, because they will just bury it, and it won’t stink too much!
And well, that’s just the basics.
Here are some Extras:
* Shampoo, For when they really dirty!
* Combs, to brush, them if they get their fur tangled, for the long-haired, it happens!
* Towels if you wash them, in the cold! They can get sick sometimes!
* Cats also like these foods:
- Popcorn and Corn with Salt.
- Watermelon.
- Ice cream!
- Milk
- and Sour Yogurt, not fruit yogurt!
* Collors, in case they get lost!
Well, that’s pretty much it! I hope i helped =]xx

I’m looking to make a good quality cat toy with household items, please don’t include sewing, my machine is broken.
Common people get creative HELP!
My cats love their "knotted" socks! I just take an old pair of clean heavy ( athletic ) socks and tie them into knots. One pair will make two toys. If you cats are older than kittens, you can get some catnip spray and spray the socks. They love that….and the socks make good "cuddle" toys…..and when dirty are easily washed!!
Tennis balls sprayed with catnip make fun toys to bat around and roll on the floor. The catnip makes them hyper for a couple of minutes, then they rub all over the toys and go find somewhere to sleep
Cardboard boxes ( soda boxes ) with one end open make good places to hide. They also love to play inside PAPER sacks……
Use you imagination………Good luck.
