There’s this rap song i’ve heard twice on the radio that’s pretty good but i have no idea what it’s called or who sings it. I think it’s old school because it comes on sunday nights when spinderella is on Jam’n 94.5 and it goes something like "ohhh wheres my kitty cat, wheres my kitty cat?"

no, but my name’s Michelle..my husband’s pet name for me is "Lady" and that has been sweet for 9 years..except we just adopted a dog, last January, named….you guessed it "Lady" at least he doesn’t call her Michelle for HER pet name…then I would be concerned.( her cutesy name is Ladikins) ……..i know you didn’t ask…………but i’m bored.

she is only 3-4 weeks, sneezing etc. i think she has a fever. Have any ideas for today till I can get to the Vet. Thanks

How do you even know she has a fever…did you take her temperature rectally? Cats have a higher body temperature than humans.. their normal temp is 101-102 degrees. You cannot "feel" your cats temperature either…you have to take it to be sure. There really are no safe at home medications you can give your cat, most over the counter human medicine can kill a cat. Sounds like your kitty has an upper respiratory infection…so just get her to the vet ASAP and the vet will probaly put her on antibiotics and will take her temp then to determine if she has a fever or not.

my kitty is 5.
usually people thinking of an image of my cat is a big fatty cat.
but shes like, 2 times bigger then a kitten.
my sisters cat isnt even a year and is already as big as a house!
i feed her regulary on a healthy diet, and give her treats.
same with my sisters cat.
is this a problem?

I have 2 1-year old male cats that I salvaged.
One is large boned, the other delicate.
Both healthy.
Your kitten is healthy.

My kitty-cat is a 19# black long-haired Himalayan, and I need suggestions for lifting and holding her for grooming and bathing..

The awful odor you describe could be due to infected teeth or an internal infection such as bladder or kidney. I believe you should bring her to her veterinarian for a check-up before subjecting her to the stress of bathing - ask for the vet’s opinion. The only breed of cat which likes water is the Havana. Once the cause of the odor is determined, medication may clear it up. Oriental cats actually have perfumed skin - I’ve had three types of Siamese, a Burmese and a Snowshoe which had direct breeding from a Birman. The Burmese had the strongest scent - very much like Shalimar and you can smell it best on the tummy where the skin is thin. This will, unfortunately, also let you know whether or not your cat had a potty visit!
Follow the vet’s advice and, if he says it’s ok, bring her to a groomer who does cats and watch carefully to see if you want to do this yourself. My old cat, the Siamese (she’s 17) is professionally groomed and bathed 3 times a year, April, June and September. I refuse to do them myself since all came to me when older and two were feral - knowing how much they hate water and having anal glands plus teeth done, I’d rather let them think the groomer is the enemy - not me although, of course, I drive them there! You need to get a good-quality natural bristle brush for your cat and groom her every day. This provides bonding time for both of you plus keeps her coat from getting knotted. Get a brush with short bristles close together and buy it at Sally’s - pet brushes are priced higher.
I hope you soon get your girl’s problem solved.
Oh - a good air freshener (actually, an organic odor neutralizer) which I’ve been using for 8 years is X-O - see link. This is safe enough to spray on food and then eat it - I use it for the litter box, kitchen, garage, etc., and have recommended it to 5 owners of multiple cats - all are still using it. One bottle plus the 8oz spray (I put into my car) will last you 3 - 4 months. If your cat doesn’t mind smelling citrus-y, you can spray this on her with no ill effects.
